The Department of Public Works establishes and maintains Pontiac's infrastructure; providing its citizens with roads, storm drains, public buildings and public parks.

Closed to the Public

Due to Governor Whitmer’s Stay Home & Stay Safe Order, the Department of Public Works will be closed to the public and taking appointments on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s between the hours of 9am-2pm. The order will be in effect beginning 11/18/2020 and ending  4/15/2021.
