The new 2012-2016 Master Plan for Pontiac's Parks and Recreation has been adopted and put into action..
There is no shortage of opportunity to enjoy the outdoors in Pontiac. In addition to Pontiac's 30 city parks and recreation fields, there are three metroparks and six state parks within a short distance.
Pontiac's Community Centers provide year-round activities and serve as the home for many civic organizations.
