Non Essential Services Halted
In compliance with Governor Witmer's "Stay Home, Stay Safe" Executive Order EO 2020-59, all non-essential city services will be halted until further notice

DPW UPDATES

Bulk Pickup to Start April 20th and Yard Waste Collection to Start April 27th
Free Landfill Day April 25th Rescheduled

Bulk Pickup to start April 20th: Advanced Disposal will restart bulk pickup and clean up the entire City. Advanced Disposal will run all 5 days and then go back to the every other week schedule the following week. Advanced Disposal will increase the limit to 4 items. We are asking residents to bag their mattresses and box springs to help mitigate any safety concerns for the drivers

Yard Waste to restart April 27th. We will run a couple trucks to get cleaned up.

FREE LANDFILL DAYS  have been rescheduled for Tuesday May 19th through Friday, May 22nd from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Furniture, appliances (freon removed and tagged), and Home Demolition items allowed. No hazardous waste or concrete.

50th District Court Closed Except for Essential Services

The 50th District Court remains closed to the general public except for essential functions relating to health and safety, while safeguarding rights guaranteed by the Constitution.

The WRC is suspending the late-payment water program until further notice due to current circumstances. Additionally, for any residents whose water service has been put on hold, WRC will assist in getting their water turned back on. For assistance, please call 248-858-1110.

nationalguardThe Corona virus relief effort in Pontiac will receive assistance from the Michigan National Guard. They will be in town to help with food distribution and deliveries according to the plans that Mayor Waterman has discussed with Guard Commander, Major General Roberts.
